THE HYBERNATORS
It's now 6 years of horrible feedback laden rock fuck, and LUNATIC have just released their 3rd album simply titled 'NO'.
No label, no money, no care, no skill, no conversations, no luck, no more, no you, no me, no petrol, no food, no sun, no shoes, no shirt, no entry, no fun, no standing, no cash here, no fuckin' around
NO
Fresh off a recent European tour of hot shit and windless lungs, it's time to punch this thing out in the hometown with some mates.
Spacejunk & The Hybernators, two bands who also make noises simply putting their shoes on, at the home of the 'corns, The Old Bar.
No is No, but this is a hell yeah.
POLLY + THE HALVES + VIOLET
Australian indie alt-rock trio Polly have announced the Maybe Australian Tour in support of their new EP Maybe.
The run of shows will see the band take their dynamic live set across the country, marking their most ambitious touring run to date. With momentum at an all-time high, the Maybe Australian Tour captures a band stepping into a defining new chapter, bringing their latest material to stages nationwide. Tickets go on sale, Saturday May 30 at midday [INSERT LINK]
The announcement follows the release of recent single Tell Your Friends, a raw and resonant track that highlights Polly’s balance of vulnerability and intensity.
Polly have steadily built momentum off the back of a string of releases earning national attention, including support from triple j and triple j Unearthed. Known for their energetic live shows and honest, guitar-driven songwriting, the three-piece have quickly established themselves as one of Australia’s most exciting emerging indie acts.
Having already shared stages with Spacey Jane, Hockey Dad, The Belair Lip Bombs and The Grogans, Polly now bring that growing reputation to a full national run, with the Maybe tour set to introduce the band to their widest audience yet.

JUSTIN KELLY + POSTURES + MHO
With his guitar in hand, and a little help from his friends, a suite of jangly bedroom rock numbers are ready to be let loose. Justin's latest full length album 'Dive', is set for release very soon and to celebrate he'll be playing all the new tunes at good ol' Old Bar. The show will be with his full band as well as shows from very special guests Postures and Mho (Canmaster Smash).
THE GENEVIEVES - launch + EQUESTRIAN FIELDS + THE
The Genevieves are an Adelaide-based alternative rock band. The four piece occupy a sonic liminal space between dense, guitar heavy soundscapes and self-reflective, pop-derived melodies. Formed in 2023 as a solely collaborative project, the absence of a consistent ‘front-person’ illuminates all four creative voices, which manifests in their recorded work and live sets through ever-changing vocal combinations, writing styles, and a sense of unpredictability. The Genevieves–with ever-increasing national attention–are gearing up for a new single release in 'Sprinkler'. They return to Naarm to celebrate the single release with fellow exciting Naarm locals The Noise & Equestrian Fields on August 28th at Old Bar on in Fitzroy.
JOAN & THE GIANTS - residency + NICK KEOGH + Guests
Joan & The Giants are a must-see act from Western Australia, now based in Melbourne, crafting heart-on-sleeve alt-pop rock that fuses stadium-sized energy with shimmering, deeply intimate lyricism.
This August 2026, they’re bringing their powerhouse live show to The Old Bar for a special Tuesday night residency, joined each week by some of the most exciting emerging local Naarm bands.
No two Tuesdays will be the same — expect new songs, forgotten favourites, unexpected covers, special guest appearances, and plenty of moments that only happen in a packed room on a winter night. Come get cosy, sip some wine, and dance your way through the cold with Joan & The Giants.
