NAKED MANNEQUIN - launch + THE BLUE BIRDS + IMMORTAL FISH + BLACK JACKS
Naarm/Melbourne alt-rock '60s garage-pop outfit Naked Mannequin returns to The Old Bar, the very venue that first christened them with their genre label. The night celebrates the launch of their new single “Long Way from Home”, a ballad about leaving everything familiar and secure behind to dive into the unknown. It is a theme that singer Barbara and drummer Dorian deeply relate to as European immigrants.
'OUT OF HALMSWAY' FILM FUNDRAISER w/ DE PORSAL + QUIET NEIGHBOURS + COMMUNITY CENTRE + CALLYSTHA
Join us at The Old Bar on the 26/09 from 8:00pm to celebrate the release of the teaser trailer for Out of Halmsway, an absurd sci-fi short set in rural Victoria. The party will have exclusive merch and surprises, with live music from De Porsal, Quiet Neighbours, Community Centre and Callystha Solo! All proceeds will go towards funding the film itself, so come along to support live music and independent film!
HYPNOTIC STATE + FAST CASTLE + CASINO DAYLIGHT
Hypnotic State brings you unlimited potential. They are who you want them to be. Fall in love with the sound of rhythmic guitar solos and slick bass lines that take your sleep-deprived skulls and hypnotise.
They’re your toxic ex who won’t give your PlayStation back. They’re the nicotine addiction you don’t want to admit you have. They’re the sound of a time past, present and future. Time is their construct that you cannot, and will not, escape.
Resistance is futile. Ride the wave and get high. Chase the dragon and sell your belongings. Hunter, Brodie, Aviv and Harry bring you live, loud and proud, the sound of Hypnotic State.

ANY YOUNG MECHANIC + ELLA ION
Tarntanya/Adelaide-based five-piece alt/indie folk band, Any Young Mechanic, will embark on their 2026 Australian Tour in support of their celebrated debut album, 'The Modern Shoe is Ruining The Foot.' The album was released in June via Warner Records / 23 Recordings to overwhelming critical acclaim.
Taking their name from a line in Hooray For Hollywood — inspired by the song’s jarring use in Robert Altman’s The Long Goodbye — Any Young Mechanic bring an aptly cinematic quality to their music. The Tarntanya/Adelaide-based five-piece are redefining contemporary folk through narrative-driven songwriting and vivid, widescreen arrangements. Before ever officially releasing music, they have already started building a reputation on the road, turning heads with striking festival appearances at Reading & Leeds and Rock en Seine over the past year, and are set to return to touring throughout the year ahead. Drawing on classical training, the city’s tight-knit DIY music scene, and modern UK experimental influences, they craft immersive songs built from criss-crossing rhythmic paths, melodic alleys and lyrical highways. Capturing the immediacy and energy of musicians performing together, Any Young Mechanic balance folk’s enduring charm with bold, live acoustic instrumentation and a sharp, contemporary edge, creating music that feels intimate, expansive, and subtly different with every listen.
SISTINE GUNS - launch + UNSCORED + FREUD & THE FAMILY SOLUTION
Following their comeback special the Sistine Guns take the Old Bar stage to celebrate their first single in over 2 years, ‘End of The Night’, accompanied by the beautifully vicious Unscored and Freud & The Family Solution. Brace yourselves for a chaotic celebration that cannot be missed. Get in, get weird.
THE ANTICS - launch + PRINK + LOW MONROE
Pub-punk misfits The Antics are hitting the road for their very first headlining tour!
After a busy year which included the release of their debut record and subsequent sold out launch, the hard ‘n’ fast rockers are bringing the ruckus up the coast with the All Bets Are Off
tour!
Operating on Wurundjeri land, The Antics have carved out a hectic journey over the past year; touring with These New South Whales and Delivery, support slots for C.O.F.F.I.N., Cosmic Psychos and Mini Skirt, as well as their self-titled debut album, released via Rack Off Records.
Pairing the unrelenting drive and electric riffage of punk’s progenitors with scathing lyrics on femininity, police corruption and the human experience - they’re tough, and they’re rockin’ up at your doorstep whether you like it or not!
'TOO BIG FOR YOUR POCKETS' - FILM FUNDRAISER w/ MATILDA SUTHERLAND + POSTURES + JARROW
Too Big For Your Pockets follows a pair of young pickpocketing friends on their routine night of stealing from the wealthy. It all unravels when one crosses a moral boundary, triggering a conflict that threatens their friendship.
Presale $15 or $20 on the door.
Doors: 7:30pm
8pm: Jarrow (solo)
9pm: Postures (solo)
10pm: Matilda Sutherland
Hope to see ya there!

Fresh off a recent European tour of hot shit and windless lungs, it's time to punch this thing out in the hometown with some mates.
Spacejunk & The Hybernators, two bands who also make noises simply putting their shoes on, at the home of the 'corns, The Old Bar.
No is No, but this is a hell yeah.
