~GRAND BAXTER~
From the forests of eastern Melbourne come Grand Baxter, an alt-folk trio combining earnest songwriting, dense textures of guitar and strings, and a humble country-folk charm. Inspired by Jason Isbell and Gillian Welch, Grand Baxter exists at the intersection of rock, folk and country.
Their latest single ‘Holy Signs’ takes to the lively streets of Fitzroy in a story about those dependable people you can rely on in hard times. With surging guitars and driving rhythms, ‘Holy Signs’ is a powerful dynamic deviation for Grand Baxter, and serves as a compelling preview of Grand Baxter's upcoming EP, 'Silverline' to be released in 2025.
Supported by folky bluesy shaolin master Alister Turrill
