swanbird is a trans-femcee and experimental hip-hop producer currently based in so-called Melbourne, Australia. She has carved out a place for herself in the Australian music scene with her abrasive rap style and unapologetic lyricism, confronting complex themes of mental health, addiction, queerness, and occultism.
Her music is equally inspired by her upbringing in the Adelaide punk and metal scene, the sounds of hardcore rave and breakbeat culture, and her passion for underground and old school hip-hop.
