SUNDREAMER:

Stemming from the inner north arrives Melbourne’s newest modern metal outfit. SUNDREAMER is a progressive melodic hardcore band bringing fresh energy to the bursting Melbourne metal scene. Ambient layers dance amongst heavy, riff-driven guitars to create the foundation of the band’s sound. With force and depth, the vocals bring a brutal and emotive quality to the music, elevating it to an intensity that is hard to escape. With major influences such as Northlane, Invent Animate and This Will Destroy You, SUNDREAMER strives to express the authenticity of its predecessors whilst shaping a new perspective on the style.

BLACK SEA OF TREES:

Black Sea of Trees is a Melbourne based Progressive Metal band.
Formed in 2018 by members from all around the world, they’ve worked hard to write and produce ‘The Spiritual Beast’, a concept album released in march 2023. Steeped in introspective themes and occult symbolism, the story is inspired by Jungian philosophy, old folklore and personal experiences. Borrowing heavily from bands like Opeth and Katatonia, Black Sea of Trees seeks to take the listener on a journey with soaring vocals, acoustic passages and crushing heaviness, all wrapped in a dark atmosphere.
