Like a bolt out of the blue, Melbourne punks MONEY BOYS dropped their debut EP last year and quickly secured a run of sold-out shows and a national tour support. Their first single ‘Money Boy’ is brash, charismatic and catchy as all fuck; perfectly encapsulating all that the band has to offer live.
Having grown up in Melbourne’s underage punk scene, this energetic four-piece have cut their teeth in countless bands and have honed their songwriting over many years and are proving to be one of the country’s most exciting young bands. Big guitar riffs, driving rhythms and unshakable melodies all lay the groundwork for singer Carlo Dellora’s hugely captivating live performance.
This year sees MONEY BOYS take to some of Australia’s most iconic venues (Melbourne’s Forum, Sydney’s Enmore Theatre) as they put the finishing touches on their debut album, due for release later in the year.
It’s been over 6 months since MONEY BOYS last sold-out headline show and this frenetic punk four-piece are keen to bring that pent-up energy to Fitzroy’s Old Bar.
Showcasing tunes from their debut No Wealth But Life EP and their hotly anticipated debut album, the band will be supported by FOLEY! and a very special guest. Catch them before they embark on their national tour in support of the Smith Street Band.
