gay...? reflects upon our past and present queer selves. We employ traditional embroidery techniques while applying a queer contemporary lens. Through our bright and tongue-in-cheek style of textile art, we depict feelings of confusion amongst the clarity that follows coming out, as we settle into our respective queer existences. Each artwork is named after questions that we asked ourselves about our identities, some of which we still don’t know the answers to. We interrogate the idea that queer people should have their identities all figured out. Our playful artworks explore the affirming and transformative side of confusion and questioning.

Musicians Leo and GUTHRIE will be playing on opening night starting at 8:30pm!
