Tallulah Grace has become renowned for an effortless magic that permeates her songwriting. Her ‘incomparable, just magical’ (Triple J) debut EP, Observe You, is a poignant and personal release that blends sweet strings with gentle harmonies to create a spellbinding sound.
Pulling from the modern folk masters such as Laura Marling and Big Thief, each song draws on a heartfelt intimacy, and the power that is gained from feeling deeply and feeling together.
Joining her at the Old Bar will be McAlice, a pianist and vocalist with big emotions that only her piano can translate. Composing and songwriting from a young age, McAlice combines jazz and folk music to tell the tales of her soul through poetry and melody. Quirky and contemporary, Mcalice takes you on a mystical journey of love, fears and excitement. Joining McAlice is her beloved band Mia Rowland on drums, Dylan Jepson on bass, Liam Baille on violin and Jacobus Barnard on tenor sax.
Opening the evening will be Vonnie, who will tug at your nostalgia with her candid storytelling and Aussie folk style.
